We only collect what we need to provide our service. That usually includes:
- Your name and contact details (phone number, email, or social media handle)
- Your suburb or address, where needed to arrange pickup, delivery or drop-off
- Details of the items you'd like sharpened or repaired
- Records of your enquiries and the work we've done
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment and invoicing providers.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiries and provide quotes, arrange pickup, delivery or drop-off, carry out and keep records of sharpening and repair work, send invoices and receipts, and contact you about your job.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary with service providers who help us run the business (for example, payment and invoicing services), or where we're required to by law.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Our website, cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. It sets cookies and collects anonymised information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and a rough (city-level) location based on your IP address. This data is processed by Google; see Google's privacy policy for details. We use it only to see overall trends, not to identify you personally, and we don't use it for advertising.
You can opt out by declining cookies in your browser, using private/incognito browsing, or installing Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
The site may also load other third-party content such as Google Fonts, embedded Instagram posts or map links, and those providers have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
